The Black

Certain things in life must just be black. Roads, coal, bowties, Rottweiler’s, tyres, gorillas, Obama and now the C63 AMG coupe.

Mercedes Benz is good. AMG’s is better. Black series AMG’s are the best.

It seems that AMG engineers have the nicest job in the whole Mercedes Benz factory in Germany, because when they are bored, there are like little kids trying to figure out what to do once far enough from their parents view. And when daddy’s not around, (Big boss went on holiday) ideas pop out among them... So, why not build another Black machine. This is the forth reincarnation of the Black Series badge. Like the other 3, this is no normal car. Starting with the exterior, visually it’s got nostrils on the bonnet with wings and fins. The interior all is good stuff plus no rear seats if spec for.

 One thing you don’t have to spec for is power and noise as it comes full and with plenty of that from the muscle bound 6.3 litre V8, containing 517 presumably black horses (380 kw) and 620 rubber burning Nm.

One thing is for sure, I don’t know how many bored inventions are out and about but this has got to be one of the best and definitely my favourite bored item on the list.
