Aventador, Lamborghini's prized bull.

It's 1993, the setting is Saragossa, Spain and it is the annual bull fighting festival. A bull steps into the ring and effects bull fighting forever. The bull fighters name is Emilio Munoz and he is about to fight a bull called, Aventador, a 550kg beast that fought so valiantly it was awarded the Trofeo de la Pena la Madronera for bravery.

It is on this basis Lamborghini has used its name for what could be its greatest super car EVER! When first seeing the raging bull you can immediately sense its huge presence, power and speed. With looks that certainly attract attention, and an engine noise that rivals F1 cars you know your in for a wild ride. On the interior it is the same sharp lines but with parts pulled straight out of the Audi parts bin. It shares the same mmi centre console display but it also has a full HD LCD screen to display all your info like speed and revs, it also has a flip up switch starter button that makes you feel like your in a jet cockpit.

Under the hood you have a brand new 7 speed "robotised" ISR(Independent Shifting Rod) system as its know is about weight saving, Aswel as its fully carbon fiber monocoque(weighs only 147kgs), the first ever for a production car. It also has a redesigned 4 four wheel drive system and a fully locking rear differential controlled by the ESP to make it more active. All this has made it weight only 1575kgs and change gears in 50 milliseconds. However the numbers coming from the 6,5 liter V12 engine is the most impressive. At 515kw(700 horsepower) and 690 N.m it will rocket to 100 km/h in just 2,9 seconds and even better to 200 in 8,9 seconds, and then on to a claimed speed of a whooping 350km/h.

It is beautiful stylish and very fast, it is everything a ridiculous hyper car should be and more, with a price tag to match. If you have big dreams of owing one you better start saving this bull has a 5,7 million rand price on its head, and that's excluding the rear part camera!

Ronaldo, V.
