New Jaguar F-type Sneak peek.

Last year Jaguar tempted us all with a C-X16, a homage to the 60s E-Type Jaguar. It was gorgeous and turned many heads and made a few people even cry. Thankfully Jaguar geniuses realized how big a hit the C-X16 and decided to produce a toned down version for us, it is called the Jaguar F-Type and what a car it is.



Even though it is a toned down C-X16 it is definitely not a disappointment. A lot of details are still sketchy including the pictures, what we do know is that it will be a canvas top and will resemble the C-X16 and it will be released and sold in 2013. The F will also be more focused despite being convertible the engineers have worked hard to make it as good in the corners as it can be, but don't stress later they will release a coupe version as well.


Power train has not been confirmed yet but expect a 3,0 L V6 and later on in 2015 4 cylinder versions, a hybrid was talked about but that is way in the future. The engine will be fitted to an 8 speed gear box however Jag has been caged about other gear boxes and when asked about a manual no response was give ( take that as you wish).


Jag really needs this car, they haven't had a car like this in decades and it needs it to boost and show its sports car heritage you could call it almost a halo car for Jag. Prices are not confirmed but we predict around Boxster to 911 range, which is good value considering it is close to the 911 performance. This car is sure to make a big impact and we are excited to see what it does, we will let you know on all the details as soon as we know them in the mean time enjoy the sneak pic.
