Lamborghini Urus, An SUV like never before!

The 2012 Beijing Motor Show has been the place mark for an historic event. Historic is the sense that it has been the location where Lamborghini has unveiled its brand new Concept Vehicle. Surprisingly its not a low, fast and gorgeous super car like expected instead a big, high and aggressive SUV. Yes you read that correctly, an SUV!!

The 600 BHP (Break Horse-Power) fully off road capable 4x4 SUV will go into production late 2015 (Reported by Press) and price will be set at about $200,000 (US Dollars) or ± R 1.6 Million (Rand)

Being Promised to make it the most powerful SUV but also the least polluting with reference to Carbon Dioxide Emissions. Still it is uncertain if it will operate a V12, V10 or VW's new Forced Air V8 engine but it is Assured that their will NOT be a diesel version.

The Annual production size will be around 3000 with an estimate of 50% going to USA.

Lamborghini has also rumored that the Urus, which is a competitor to the BMW X6 and Porsche Cayenne, might be a potential successor in the Dakar Rally. Which clearly stipulates the intent to enter The Dakar Rally!

The Name "Urus" better known as Aurochs, is a Spanish breed of bull that is somewhere between fighting size and hauling size. "Urus" bulls can measure up to 1.8 meters in height at the shoulder. Okay, So huge, strong and aggressive. Got it!
