Quick Recap. The Ferrari Enzo was codenamed the F60, ok.
Good. So now a decade later Ferrari is using the Beijing Auto Show to gives us
a few hints and tips on the Enzo successor. Ok cool, we like that. But actually
all they had among the nice Ferrari’s was a man with info and some details.
Now what we know, is that it will break cover end of 2012
and will be in the spotlight by March 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show. So they
say.
The bits we know are that it will have a 6.3L V12 engine
from the F12 Berlinetta that will produce 800hp and a lot of torque. Plus it
will also feature a Hy(brid)-KERS unit that gives it an additional 120hp at
short burst. It also has an electric motor driving the front wheels to help it
lower its carbon footprint on our dearly planet earth. Yeah… But don’t worry,
this isn’t going to be like a gay Prius.
Power is transmitted via a seven speed dual clutch
transmission, giving it a seamlessly stream of power. Intel says that the new
Enzo is quite good looking, unlike any Ferrari out and about. Thing is we don't exactly know what will it look like. And will be the
fastest Ferrari ever made, taking the title from its brother the F12.
A hybrid V12, made from the best of the best, the company
can offer. Should be fun.
