Twin-turbo affair GT 86

The new, stunning, fun, natural born drifter known as the Toyota GT 86 is a good buy for any one in the market, looking to get their hands on sport car. But with its naturally aspirated 2 litre Boxer producing 200hp/147kw and 205Nm, it never seemed to be quite enough especially when hot-hatches are giving out more than that never mind a sports car.

So to solve this, Toyota’s tuning firm TRD with the help of Gazoo racing have taken two turbochargers, bitch slapped them to the 2 litre Boxer engine to now make it produce a healthy 315hp/235kw and 422N.m. They have also taken hostage of the original exhaust, brakes and race-tuned suspension. The body kit has also been under the mould, to give it a meaner road racer look.

Deep deep rumours suggest that there might be a production made turbo engine in the future. We just have to wait and see.
