Bentley Continental GT Speed
Word from Bentley is that soon there will be a new “SPEED” model added to the current Bentley line-up and will be the fastest car produced by Bentley.
Lately gay-tree-hugging-echo-heads have sat in front of Bentley’s production plant for a long time without bathing and stank up the whole place, because somehow the beautifully engineered 6.0L W12 engine is to dirty. WTF!!!
So with the launch of the new Conti model, there was an Audi derived twin-turbo 4.0L V8 with 500hp/373kw and 660 Nm under the right foot and a dash from 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds. Nice, but for a car caring the “Speed” name stamped on its arse, there had to be a power plant under the hood.
So please welcome back the legendary twin-turbo 6.0L W12 with 616hp/460kw and 800 Nm of torque. Which is enough to propel the 2.5 tons of machine from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds, and on to a top speed of 329km/h (205mph). The W12 will be mated with the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, which was only used on the V8’s. As with all other Continental’s, this will be all-wheel drive. The chassis has also seen a bit of tuning with stiffer and lower suspensions plus a sharper steering ratio so you can change direction like a mosquito.
The Continental GT Speed coupé will be launched by October, so sit back and hold tight.
