First pictures of the new M6.

The M6 has always been some what of the odd child out. With it's weird looks, almost beaver like front and annoying gear box that was impossible to drive in town. However it has always been a desired car and the new M6, is no different. Today we bring you the first pictures and specifications on the all new and improved and ultra cool BMW M6.

The design has been taken from the brand new 6 series and given the M brand of styling and I have to say, "look's petty stylish to me". The nose is not so protruding as before and the sharp lines, wide stance and aggressive grill make the car look like a real bad ass!

It uses the BMW's new 4,4 liter twin-turbo charged V8 (also used on the new M5), so it has a monumental 552bhp (414KW), that's more than you get on a Jaguar XKR-S. When we say monumental we really mean mental, with all of this sent to the rear wheels using the , seven speed double clutch gear box with launch control, shooting it to 100 Km/h in just 4,2 seconds ( 4,3 in the drop top). If you take the "M drivers package" the car will do 189 mph (302 Km/h).

All in all the M6 is set to rock the sport coupe range to bits, possibly even bring home the crown as top dog for BMW. No matter if you like the car of not, you can't help but feel that if it gets in your rear view mirror, you will want to move out of its way.

So if you want one go get in cue now as they are only available in 3rd quarter of 2012 and there is already quite a waiting list and unfortunately will cost you a healthy R 1,8 million.
