The new Subaru Crossover VX

The lemon of the year award seems to have already a few candidates and today we going to talk about the latest one. It is the Subaru VX Crossover, and straight off the bat it looks kind of awkward with a legacy on steroids feel. The subaru based on the very well built Impreza, so the performance and off road capabilities are almost a given.

The car will have a 2,0 liter diesel and petrol with both manual and auto gear box on option using subaru's boxer engine. To appeal to european market the new Subaru has gotten sleeker lines and a square grille. A 1,6 liter will join as well later on, and the fuel economy is unconfirmed but estimates stay about 670 Km on the 2,0 in one tank. The Japanese company has built a reputation on long lasting cars and this seems to continue the trend, but reports have said though it does have the handling of the Impreza it does have a trade off in a noisy suspension and hard ride, plus a very rough unresponsive CVT auto gear box.

The car has also been fitted with Subaru's latest crash tech mainly geared towards protecting small and young occupants such as children. The new Subaru VX is a perfect car for the crossover MVP range and will certainly hit the spot for many people despite its flaws. We have tried to get the specs and have yet to find them but as soon as we do we will let you know but expect reasonable good performance and good price for what you get.
